soccer = football
cleats = boots
upper 90 = top corner
offense = attack
field = pitch
pk 18 = penalty area
stopper = centre back
half back = winger
can you see what i have to put up with. some of the rules are shocking aswell.
- girls are allowed to put their hands on their chest to control the ball.
- subs can only be made when your team has a throw in or a goal kick. not when the other team has them.
- unlimited subs, all players have to play a certain amount of time. some teams, all they ever do is sub people. 4 or 5 will come off at a time. in one game, our opposition made 32 changes in total. i made 4!!
- if your team scores 6 goals, you cant score anymore and you then have to play keep ball.
- parents are one side of the pitch, coaches and subs the other.
- you have to have a coaching pass to go on the coaching side.
- its state law that you have to wear shin pads. the police are called if a player refuses to wear them or is seen without them on whilst playing.
what ever happened to playing the game normally??

Theres no chance of me becoming morbidly obese, as soon as i eat anything i end up just sweating it off in the heat.

It'll drive you insane out there, and of course within six months you will become morbidly obese.
Apparantly the rules in Gresley state that the referee can't give a decision against the home side and the pitch must be contructed on the side of a hill!!!
